Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about what exists today — and what does not yet.
Material and scope
What there is to learn
- What can be learned today?
- Module 1 is available with 7 chapters, 23 lessons, 69 exercises and 69 solutions. Module 2 is German working material still in development and not released. There is no learning content and no date for the later modules.
- When do the later modules arrive?
- There is no date. We do not name one while the material is not genuinely finished.
- What language are the explanations in?
- Thai explains meaning, function and the learning step. The material to be learned stays German.
Pronunciation and review
PRON and the state of the review
- What is PRON?
- Pronunciation help written in Thai script for an independent first attempt. Help, not a guarantee.
- Has the material been fully reviewed?
- No. The Thai explanations and the pronunciation help are still in linguistic review, so we do not describe them as finished.
- Is GERMANYUM part of an examination institution?
- No. GERMANYUM is independent and promises no examination result.
Partner practice
Is a second person required?
- Does someone have to practise along?
- No. Self-study works alone. Partner practice is added when someone is available.
- Does the supporting person need to be able to teach?
- No. Module 1 has 23 partner units. Each unit belongs to exactly one self-study lesson. The partner does not teach and does not replace self-study.
