INFORMATION BEFORE PURCHASE
Digital course access and consumer information
This pre-sale information explains the planned delivery of GERMANYUM digital books and course access, the important difference between withdrawal rights and product defects, and the data that must be final before checkout opens.
This is a pre-sales structure, not legal advice. Contract wording and selling markets require legal review before checkout is opened.

DELIVERY
Digital access within 24 hours
For digital products and services, GERMANYUM plans to provide access by email or user account within 24 hours after confirmed payment. This is not a shipping time. The same wording must appear on the product page and in the contract confirmation before sales open.
No physical shipping
Purely digital products have no parcel transit, shipping packaging or postal return.
Payment confirmation starts the window
The 24-hour period begins with confirmed payment status, not when checkout is opened.
Explain access clearly
The confirmation email or account must explain how to access the file or course.
Provide a problem route
A tested contact route is required before sale if access does not arrive within the stated period.
WITHDRAWAL RIGHTS
A blanket “no returns” statement would not be legally reliable
Consumers generally have a statutory withdrawal right for distance contracts. For digital content and services, it ends only when the applicable legal conditions are satisfied.
- 01
Digital content
Before access begins, explicit consent to early performance, acknowledgement that the right ends and a compliant contract confirmation are required.
- 02
Services
Starting within the withdrawal period requires an express request; the right may end after full performance only under the applicable conditions.
- 03
Remedies for defects
Statutory rights for faulty or non-conforming digital products and services must be handled separately from withdrawal rights.
- 04
Checkout evidence
Use unticked confirmations, clear information near payment and durable evidence in the contract confirmation.
ACCESS WITHIN 24 HOURS
Define when digital delivery starts and what successful access means
The intended service level is access within 24 hours after confirmed payment. A checkout click or an incomplete payment does not start that period. The confirmation must show the product, payment status, email address and agreed delivery method so that support can trace the case.
For a book, successful delivery may mean a working secure download or protected library access. For a course, it means a usable account and the purchased modules being visible. Sending an email alone is not sufficient when the link or account does not work.
The exact route, supported devices, account requirements and support channel will be published before sale. Product page, checkout, confirmation and policy must describe the same timing. Any different immediate-access promise requires a corresponding real process.
NO PARCEL SHIPPING
Describe digital delivery instead of physical shipping claims
The current GERMANYUM product architecture describes digital books and a digital course. No parcel, tracking number or physical shipping carrier is involved. A generic delivery policy must not imply that a download is sent as a package.
The relevant customer questions are where access appears, how long it remains available, whether a file can be downloaded again and what happens after an account or device change. Those answers depend on the final platform and licence terms and must not be guessed.
If a physical edition is introduced later, it needs its own shipping regions, cost, delivery estimates, loss and return handling. That future possibility does not belong in the current digital-only product representation.
WITHDRAWAL IS NOT A RETURN LABEL
Avoid the misleading claim that digital products can never be returned
Digital content does not use a physical return parcel, but that fact does not by itself remove consumer rights. For paid non-tangible digital content, the legal effect of beginning performance can depend on explicit prior consent, acknowledgement of the consequence and the required contract confirmation. Preselected boxes are not a substitute for a genuine choice.
The checkout must record the relevant declarations in a form that can be linked to the order. The buyer needs durable confirmation. Exact wording and application depend on seller, customer location, product and timing and require professional legal review before launch.
A broad sentence such as no refund or no return would mix withdrawal, defects, access failures and voluntary commercial policies. GERMANYUM must explain these situations separately and avoid presenting a planned policy as final legal advice.
COURSE AND DOWNLOAD DIFFERENCES
Treat digital content and an ongoing digital service according to the actual product
A downloadable book and a course with ongoing platform access may not be identical for withdrawal analysis. If live teaching, personal services or a defined service period are added, the product model changes again. Product labels in WooCommerce cannot determine the legal nature on their own.
The visible offer must specify what is supplied, when access begins, how long it lasts and whether any service starts immediately at the buyer's request. Checkout consent and confirmation then need to match that real performance.
GERMANYUM will not publish one universal no-return statement for books, courses and services. The final policy needs legal review for the actual seller, sale countries and product implementation.
DEFECTS AND CONFORMITY
Keep product defects and access problems separate from withdrawal
A damaged file, missing promised chapter, broken supported-device access or course materially different from its description is not resolved by a statement about withdrawal. Digital products need a documented route for correction, renewed delivery or other appropriate remedy according to the applicable rules.
Support should distinguish mail delivery, account failure, product assignment and content defect. It must never ask for a password or complete payment credentials by email. Order reference, account email, time and a concise description are normally more useful.
If an update is necessary to keep a product conforming or secure, the responsible process and access conditions must be defined. These duties require legal and operational review rather than a marketing claim of absolute security.
CHECKOUT EVIDENCE
Record consent, payment, confirmation and access as separate events
The system should distinguish an order created, a payment confirmed, required consent recorded, a confirmation sent and the product actually made accessible. One successful status cannot silently stand in for every later step.
WooCommerce should own order and refund state. Stripe processes payment and sends authenticated events; it does not become the only contract record. The learning system grants course access only after the defined confirmed-payment state and responds consistently to refund or cancellation decisions.
Transactional email is also a separate proof. Brevo accepting a message is not the same as a real inbox receiving a correct localised confirmation. Templates, links, sender identity and delivery must be tested end to end.
SUPPORT AND REFUNDS
Handle missing access, defects and refund requests through defined paths
A missing access email does not necessarily mean that the order failed. Support first checks confirmed payment, the supplied email, mail delivery and product assignment, then restores access or corrects the technical fault.
A content defect needs its own record and remedy. A refund request is evaluated against the order, delivered performance, applicable rights and any valid commercial policy. Stripe can execute a refund, but the contractual decision and WooCommerce order status must remain aligned.
For a course, the team must define what happens to access after a refund. Automated access removal cannot be guessed from a single payment event without considering the approved process and consumer outcome.
INFORMATION STILL REQUIRED
Complete seller, tax, contract and support facts before opening checkout
Seller identity, service address, contact route, sale countries and contract language must be fixed. Product price, ISO currency, tax treatment, invoicing, SKU, access period, support and exact performance description also need one authoritative source.
Legal notice, privacy information, contract terms, withdrawal information and any model form must match the real business. Stripe and Brevo data processing must be addressed. Marketing consent remains separate from a purchase and requires its own valid process.
This page is therefore a pre-sale framework, not a final merchant policy or legal opinion. German, Thai and English versions require professional review before checkout and public indexing, especially when sales extend across jurisdictions.
CONTRACT CONFIRMATION
Give buyers durable, localised information after an order
The buyer should receive a durable confirmation containing seller, product, price, tax information, payment state, delivery commitment, support route and the applicable contract information. Where early digital performance is agreed, the relevant consent and acknowledgement must be documented with the order.
Confirmation cannot exist only inside an account that the buyer is unable to access. A correctly localised email or other storable record must arrive with working links. Provider acceptance is one technical event, not proof of receipt or usable access.
Thai, German and English versions must describe the same product and rights without changing the legal effect through translation. The governing contract language and any cross-border conditions need explicit professional review before the first sale.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Important questions with clear answers
When will a digital product be made available?
The planned commitment is within 24 hours after confirmed payment. The final product page and checkout must state the same timing and the actual access method before sale begins.
Will a physical package be shipped?
Not for the current digital-only product architecture. Books and course access are planned for electronic delivery. A future physical edition would require a separate shipping policy.
Can the site simply state that digital products have no returns?
No. Lack of a physical parcel does not remove all consumer rights. Withdrawal, early digital performance, access failure, defects and any refund policy must be treated separately and legally reviewed.
How can withdrawal be affected by immediate digital access?
For relevant paid digital content, explicit consent, acknowledgement of the consequence and proper confirmation can be important. Exact implementation depends on the actual transaction and requires professional legal review.
What happens if the download or course access does not work?
Support should verify payment, account, message delivery and product assignment, then restore access or address the defect. A withdrawal statement does not replace this process.
Who records payment and course access?
WooCommerce should own product and order state, Stripe payment processing and an LMS lesson access and progress. Their states must be connected without duplicating the authoritative price or order record.
Will purchase emails also subscribe me to marketing?
They must not do so automatically. Transactional messages are needed for the order, while marketing requires a separate valid consent, double opt-in where applicable and a working unsubscribe route.
Is this page final legal advice?
No. It is a pre-sale implementation framework. Seller, products, countries, checkout and contract language must be final before qualified legal review and publication.
LEGAL STATUS
Safe baseline information instead of a false no-return policy
Before real sales, merchant identity, selling countries, tax, price, contract wording and withdrawal information must be complete and professionally reviewed for the target markets.
