A COMPLETE SELF-STUDY ROUTE
Use a German A1 book that does not depend on hidden extras
A genuine self-study book must contain every explanation and core task needed to follow the programme independently. Each lesson therefore needs a small objective, a clear model, active practice, a way to check the result and a planned return to uncertain material. Optional partner work may enrich practice but cannot be the only route through an objective.
The architecture currently contains 147 planned lessons across twelve modules. A target range of roughly 180 to 260 pages guides production, but usefulness takes priority over reaching a page number. Final length, edition, file format, publication date, SKU and any ISBN will be confirmed only for the completed product.
The audience is adult beginners. Examples focus on relevant personal and everyday communication without childish framing. Thai explanations reduce avoidable confusion, while the learner continues to see and use complete German words, sentences and instructions.
FOUR INFORMATION LAYERS
Separate German text, Thai meaning, pronunciation support and practical use
A German target word or sentence is the first layer. A natural Thai explanation establishes meaning and function. A Thai-script pronunciation aid may support an initial attempt but is labelled as approximate. The final layer shows where the expression belongs through a task, exchange or everyday situation.
Keeping the layers distinct prevents a translation from being mistaken for a grammar rule or a transliteration from being mistaken for a German sound. Learners can ask four clear questions: what is written in German, what does it mean, how can I approach its sound and when can I use it?
The pronunciation system still requires independent expert review and a defined blind test before it can be treated as verified. Unresolved conventions cannot be reproduced across hundreds of pages simply because they look consistent. The public product must state the limits of any aid.
DE
The original German expression remains the authoritative target.
TH
Natural Thai explains meaning or function without adding stronger claims.
PRON
A limited aid supports a first attempt but never replaces authentic listening.
USE
A task or situation turns recognition into active language.
TWELVE-MODULE CONTENT
Work through pronunciation, everyday German, grammar and A1 review
Opening modules develop reading, pronunciation, first conversations, numbers, dates and appointments. Learners then move through family, food, shopping, home, routines, work, learning, leisure and transport. Calls, messages and forms connect language that has already appeared in several contexts.
A dedicated grammar module organises familiar patterns instead of dropping a large new theory section into the end of the book. Original A1-style practice and a final review follow. No official examination paper is copied or presented as GERMANYUM content.
Stable lesson identifiers keep the self-study book and Partner Trainer aligned even when layout changes page numbers. A self-study lesson such as S-L2.3.1 can correspond to P-L2.3.1 in the partner product. The cross-reference supports choice but does not make either book incomplete on its own.
NO AUDIO CLAIM IN VERSION 1.0
Practise pronunciation honestly when a book does not include recordings
The current product decision for book version 1.0 does not include audio. The book will not display required QR codes, invisible audio placeholders or marketing copy that suggests recordings are included. Every essential exercise must remain possible from the delivered material.
Pronunciation can still be supported through original spelling, stress marking, mouth guidance, careful comparisons, speaking aloud and self-recording. A partner may read or dictate controlled material, which trains attention to known language. That activity is useful but does not reproduce the variety of different speakers, natural speed and background conditions.
Learners who need broad listening practice will require authentic or later purpose-produced audio in addition to the book. Stating that limit is more useful than presenting any written transcription system as a complete substitute. Future media would need separate scope, production and technical testing.
HOW TO STUDY
Read, retrieve, check and revisit each German A1 lesson
Begin with the lesson objective and example. Use the Thai explanation to understand the relevant contrast, then cover the model and attempt the first task. Active retrieval should happen before the answer is revealed. That small delay shows whether the expression is available or only familiar when visible.
After checking, classify the uncertainty: meaning, vocabulary, article, verb form, word order, pronunciation or instruction. Repeat only the affected step and produce one personal variation. A later review should test the item without the original page so that progress reflects memory rather than visual recognition.
A weekly routine combines new lessons with spaced review. Learners can record a few spoken answers, write a short message and mark items that still require help. The book should guide this process without pretending that a fixed schedule will suit every adult.
SOLUTIONS AND SELF-CHECK
Understand the reason for an answer instead of copying a solution
A useful solution section does more than display the missing word. For central tasks it shows the checking step: first confirm the requested meaning, then the relevant form and sentence position. Learners can see whether the problem was an unknown rule or a familiar item that was not retrieved in time.
Open answers may have more than one acceptable version. A short A1 sentence does not become wrong merely because it differs from the model. At the same time, a solution should not ignore an error that changes the trained information. The criteria need to be narrow, visible and appropriate for the current lesson.
Repeated self-check questions create consistency: is the requested information present, does the verb fit the person, is it in the trained position and is the learned article included? The learner then repeats the uncertain part rather than restarting a complete module without diagnosis.
PRODUCT FACTS BEFORE SALE
Evaluate format, sample pages and delivery before buying the digital book
A final product page must state edition, file format, page count, supported reading conditions, price, currency, tax, SKU and delivery method. If an ISBN is assigned, it must identify the actual edition. Sample pages need to come from the real product and represent the quality of explanations, tasks and solutions.
For a digital-only book there is no parcel shipping. The planned promise is access within 24 hours after confirmed payment, but the exact delivery route and support procedure must work before checkout opens. Digital content is not automatically outside consumer protection, so withdrawal information and defect remedies require precise treatment.
Until these facts are complete, the page includes Product schema without an Offer. It does not invent price, stock, ratings or availability for search engines. When commerce launches, WooCommerce should become the single source for the visible offer and corresponding structured data.
CHOOSING AN A1 BOOK
Compare lesson design, sample pages and the quality of explanations
A useful table of contents shows progression, but buyers also need representative sample pages. A sample should reveal how the book explains a contrast, asks the learner to respond and provides a solution. Decorative opening pages alone do not show whether the product supports independent study.
Thai-speaking learners should look for explanations that address a real language difference instead of replacing each German sentence word for word. The original German needs to remain easy to identify, and any pronunciation aid needs an explicit limit. Typography and file navigation should also remain usable on the devices named by the seller.
GERMANYUM will publish samples only from the final reviewed edition. Any later revision needs an edition identifier so a buyer knows which file, page references and corrections apply. This is more reliable than using an approximate page count or an unassigned ISBN as a sales signal.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Important questions with clear answers
Who is the German A1 book for?
It is planned for adult Thai-speaking beginners who want a structured self-study route. It may also help learners reorganise incomplete A1 knowledge, but it is not presented as an advanced grammar reference.
How many lessons will the book contain?
The confirmed architecture contains 147 planned lessons across twelve modules. The final page count and edition will be stated only after layout and editorial review are complete.
Can I use the book without a teacher or partner?
Yes. It is designed as an independent product. Any useful partner exercise must have a solo route for the essential objective, and the separate Partner Trainer is optional.
Does the book explain German in Thai?
Thai explanations clarify meaning and important differences, while German spelling, examples and exercises stay visible. New Thai text still requires human language review before index release.
Will the first edition include audio?
No audio is currently planned for book version 1.0. The product will not imply included recordings or rely on required audio links that are not delivered.
Will the book have solutions?
Solutions and self-check guidance are part of the planned structure. Important tasks should explain the checking logic, and open answers should acknowledge valid alternatives where appropriate.
What format, price and ISBN will the book have?
Those data are not final. File format, edition, price, currency, tax, SKU and any ISBN will be published together with the real product and sample pages.
Can I buy the German A1 book now?
Not yet through the public site. There is no active offer or checkout until final product, legal, delivery and support information have been completed and tested.
